In this project I present a proposal to recreate the book “Invisible Cities” by Italo Calvino with the visual exploration of the construction of the structure defined by the author in the original book.

There is a duality present in the structure of the book. This duality is represented graphically in the book, which is divided into two. Each theme of the first part of the book have a symmetrical theme in the other part.

To visually represent this theme, I created different optical illusions that correspond to the different themes of the book. The illusions allows a more interactive use of the book.
